Our Mission.
Community Christian School strives to offer opportunities for our students to explore paths for work experiences, which will help them to succeed in the workforce after graduation.
Community Thrift was created to both help educate our students through a retail business training initiative located on our school campus, but also to offer a retail store shopping experience for our local community. We also bless those in need in our community with free items as needed.
Community Thrift offers internship training opportunities for school vocational credit, providing an enrichment experience for our students that combines job training and resume-building opportunities.
Community Christian School
Community Christian School opened in August of 2008 and is located at Growing Branches for Christ Ministries in Connersville, Indiana. We are blessed to provide quality Christian education in not only our community, but service students from surrounding communities as well.
We strive to teach our students to be Life-Long Learners and to be mission minded in their community.
School to Work
Students will learn to business plan, market and display donated product items for the thrift store. They will earn school-to-work credit for their time spent on store related work projects. By doing so, they can learn and gain work experience for a resume’ to use as they adult out of their high school program and into the work world.
Donate for a difference
Community Thrift- Bargains+Blessings accepts gently used toys, clothes, household items, home decor, and small furniture items such as tables, occasional chairs, china cabinets and linens.
These items are all sold to create funding for school programs for Community Christian School students.
